Peak to Plains Guide Service
Meet Our Team
Peak to Plains Guide Service was born from a simple idea: to build something meaningful on the local waters we’ve come to know and care deeply about. After years of guiding fly fishing trips across Colorado, we felt the pull to focus on waters that stretch from Estes Park to the reservoirs of the Front Range. Estes Park offered the ideal setting to anchor a guide service rooted in local knowledge, personal experience, and a genuine respect for the land. Our goal has always been to share these familiar waters with others in a way that feels personal, accessible, and true to the spirit of Colorado fly fishing.

I am a Colorado Native, and have been guiding Fly-Fishing for 20 years. I started guiding in RMNP, and from there spent many years on the fickle South Platte River. I was 13 when I picked up a fly rod for the first time at Union Reservoir in Longmont. 25 years later, I am still obsessed with warm-water fishing and can’t wait to share it with my clients. Don’t get me wrong, I will still break out the 5x and a midge and chase a trout!

This will be my twentieth season as a guide on the water. I have enjoyed my time guiding people on our local waters, sharing with them my knowledge, passion, and love for the sport of fly fishing. One of my fondest memories of fly fishing comes when I was able to fish with my family on the Firehole River in Yellowstone National Park. What a great time! Fly fishing has opened up many opportunities for me over the years. Meeting some fantastic people along the way. I will always be passionate and thankful for the opportunities and doors fly fishing has opened for me.

I grew up on the Southern California coast, fishing all over after moving from Green Bay as a young child. I moved to Colorado to raise a family in 93, fishing with the family as time allowed and learning about fisheries in our great state. Over the past 18 years my focus has been on fly fishing and as time progressed, I got bored watching bobbers. I turned my focus towards warmwater fish that pull hard, and love to eat trout. I would love to share a day on the water with you.

I have spent the last 10 years ruthlessly chasing fish in Colorado with a fly rod. I consider fly fishing to be a cure-all, and if asked for advice I may send you to the river. I love teaching my friends, family, and clients the tricks I have learned along the way. My addiction was started by backpacking into alpine lakes in search of large cutthroat trout. Nowadays, I enjoy day trips into RMNP and long weekends hunting big fish. Let's go fishin!

When I moved to Colorado 10 years ago, I knew I had to find a way to enjoy the amazing river systems we have here. I bought my first fly rod and have not turned back since! I’m very grateful to be able to fish in Colorado’s beautiful Rocky Mountains- there are so many incredible rivers here! I love watching a new angler catch their first fish, or share a day with an experienced angler exchanging fishing stories and different techniques. Time on the water is always time well spent, and I’m excited to get out there with you!

I am a Colorado native and I have a true passion for chasing the fish we have in this state. I enjoy making memories on the water whether it be on a river or a lake. The first time I ever went fly fishing was in the Poudre Canyon and ever since I was hooked. I am very grateful for all the opportunities this state has to offer! I hope to be able to create some great memories with clients on the water this year!
